EXCHANGE VALUE AS THE BASIS FOR PAYMENT OF IMPORT DUTY, VALUE-ADDED TAX OF GOODS AND SERVICES AND SALES TAX ON LUXURY GOODS, EXPORT DUTY, AND INCOME TAX APPLY FOR JUNE 15, 2022 TO JUNE 21, 2022

a.
that for settlement of Import Duty, Value Added Tax on Goods and Services and Sales Tax on Luxury Goods, Export Duty, and Income Tax on Importation of Goods, Taxes Payable relating to Value Added Tax on Goods and Services and Sales Tax on Luxury Goods, Export Duty, and Income received or earned in the form of foreign currency, must first be assessed in Rupiah;
b.
that based on the considerations as referred to in letter a, it is necessary to stipulate a Decree of the Minister of Finance concerning Exchange Rate as the Basis for Settlement of Import Duties, Value Added Taxes on Goods and Services, and Sales Tax on Luxury Goods, Export Duties, and Income Taxes valid for June 15, 2022, until by June 21, 2022.

THE DECREE OF THE MINISTER OF FINANCE CONCERNING EXCHANGE VALUE AS THE BASIS FOR PAYMENT OF IMPORT DUTY, VALUE-ADDED TAX OF GOODS AND SERVICES, AND SALES TAX ON LUXURY GOODS, EXPORT DUTY, AND INCOME TAX APPLIES TO JUNE 15, 2022.

SECOND

If other foreign exchange rates are not listed in the FIRST Dictum, the exchange rate used as the basis for settlement is the daily spot rate of the foreign currency concerned on the international market against the United States dollar prevailing at the close of the previous working day and multiplied by the rupiah exchange rate against the United States dollar. as stipulated in this Decree of the Minister of Finance.

THIRD

This Ministerial Decree comes into force from June 15, 2022, until June 21, 2022.
A copy of this Minister’s Decision is submitted to:
1. Minister of Finance;
2. Deputy Minister of Finance;
3. Secretary-General of the Ministry of Finance;
4. Director General of Taxes;
5. Director General of Customs and Excise.
