Attention to detail is also very important. “I once had a client who was replaced by a friend,” says Gary. “They had nothing but trouble with it and finally called us in to take a look. They were convinced they had a bad unit. I turned on the system and noticed that there was not enough ventilation. I checked the fan speed but it was high. I removed the blower assembly and found a piece of shipping material inside the assembly that controls the airflow! I removed it and everything worked fine.
All in One marketing manager Kim Weil tells a similar story. “One customer had a new unit installed by another company and had nothing but problems from the start,” says Kim. “Another company wants to charge them every time they go out and never finds anything wrong. On the last visit they told the customer he needed a new unit. Each time it was a different technology and they had no idea what the previous technology had done. The customer told them not to come back and they will have another company take a look. They contacted other big businessmen only to find that after three or four days anyone can reach them. I received the call early and provided same day service. This problem ended up being an easy fix that cost the customer nothing more than the service fee.

Kim says that “going the extra mile” for customers is something they do well. “Compared to other companies in our area, we offer an after-hours fee. Our technicians will talk to the customer to get a better idea of what the problem might be. If we can avoid an unnecessary call to the customer, we will do so. Many times we need a part we don’t have in stock and don’t get it until the next day, so why charge the customer to be told it can’t be fixed until tomorrow? We often hear of customers paying over $100 for a 6pm call only to find out they can’t fix the problem. The mechanics were very professional and experienced. The work was completed in a reasonable time. The mechanics were courteous and patient in answering all my questions. Overall nice experience.
The technician arrived on time. Well worn. The heat pump was difficult on hot days. The technician inspected the exterior and interior of the units. The unit is 22 years old and has added refrigerant that may leak. It’s not cheap, but it’s worth it if it lasts. When it comes time to replace the unit, I will definitely do the TC. Air conditioning as a plumber.
